Responsible Business Research Seminar

The Responsible Business Research Seminar is organised in order to increase the visibility and to promote research on business responsibility, sustainability and ethics in Finland. The Research Seminar offers an opportunity for researchers in the field to present their research projects and results as well as to share ideas and experiences of doing research.

In 2018, the Responsible Business Research Seminar is organised for the sixth time. Languages of the seminar are Finnish and English.Keynote speakers 2018:

Dr. Geert Demuijnck, Professor of Business Ethics, EDHEC Business School:

“Business ethics in practice: The role of business ethicists in corporations”

Dr. Pasi Heikkurinen, Lecturer in Business and Sustainable Change in the School of Earth and Environment, Sustainability Research Institute (SRI), University of Leeds:

     “Integrative perspective on business and sustainable change”

We invite presentation from all fields of business responsibility, sustainability and ethics. Potential topics include (but are not limited to):

·         Business-nature-society relations

·         Ethical leadership and workplace wellbeing

·         Responsible business and corporate social responsibility

·         Social accounting and CSR reporting

·         Social entrepreneurship

·         Stakeholder interaction

·         Value creation and responsible business models
