Position in Business Ethics - Lecturer in Munich
The Peter Loescher Chair for Business Ethics at Technische Universitaet Muenchen is seeking qualified applicants for a temporary (three year) position as:
Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Lecturer)
The position, which is non-tenure track, will run from 01/10/2010 to 30/09/2013. An extension is possible. The position can be split depending on the qualification of applicants.
The successful candidate will be expected to do research in business ethics, to teach in this and in other related areas and to contribute to the Peter Loescher Chair in organizational work such as exams, conference organization or editorial duties.
A grade in philosophy, economics or business administration is essential. A Ph.D. in one of these fields is preferred. Publications in business ethics or related areas as well as teaching experience are a must.
The appointment will be made within the German TV-L 13 salary scheme.

Position announcement Business Ethics (USA)
The University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business, Department of Ethics and Business Law, seeks candidates for a tenure-track position (Asst. or Assoc. Professor) in Business Ethics starting in Fall 2011.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in Business Ethics or related field. ABD candidates will be considered if the degree is completed by January 1, 2011. Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in business ethics, a commitment to research and professional engagement, and strong interpersonal skills. Teaching experience and research record should be commensurate with rank sought.

Associate Professor position in Management
School Of Business Administration At Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA
The School of Business Administration at Duquesne University invites applications for an Associate Professor position in Management specializing in Strategic Management, with the opportunity to be considered for the Director of the MBA Sustainability program beginning fall, 2011. Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in Business Administration (Strategy, Management, or a closely related area), or equivalent, with a record of established or emerging excellence in teaching, scholarship, and administration.
Responsibilities include a teaching load in Strategic Management of five to six classes per year at the undergraduate and graduate levels, reduced if assuming administrative duties. Scholarship should target peer-reviewed publications in the Management or related fields, with preference for established scholarly performance in sustainability. Previous administrative experience at the department, school or university levels is preferred.

Reporting to Boeing Ethics and Business Conduct, the Ethics Advisor will be responsible for the following:

Acts as a consultant to management on ethics issues.

Identifies organizations with which working relationships must be established and develops those agreements and relationships.

Establishes a clear understanding of business, operations, and cultural issues within Boeing units in the UK, Europe, Turkey and Israel as well as an understanding of significant ethics concerns of employees and managers.

Adapts and optimizes ethics program, policies, and materials to suit UK, Europe, Turkey and Israel and international legislative, business, and cultural norms. Identifies the implementation challenges.

Participating in and leading teams, contributes to program or process changes, tools and practices, as well as advancing a broad understanding of international ethics challenges.

Creates and delivers effective ethics and business conduct training. Assists in developing program and business goals and objectives.

Addresses ethics concerns by interpreting policy, providing advice, assigning problems for investigation then periodically reviewing the investigation progress, providing feedback, and providing advice for corrective actions, as appropriate.

Reports ethics and business conduct metrics and recommends program or process changes to remediate indicated problems.

Interacts with all levels of management to provide policy advice, investigation, corrective action advice, and education.

Partner with HR, security, internal audit, legal, and other specialists to assign investigations or provide advice. Acts as a consultant in partnership with management on ethics issues.

Develops an understanding of the most significant ethics concerns of employees and managers through direct discussion, polls, focus groups, or other methods, and develops communications and ethics initiatives to address. Education
Qualified to degree level or equivalent. A significant depth of understanding of Company organization, policies and procedures, as well as operating environments is preferred. Functional experience in business development, finance, HR, operations and law is desirable, as well as experience in a significant role managing ethics and business conduct, governance, or compliance issues. Prior experience with program development and implementation is preferred, especially ethics, compliance or related. Work experience in the UK and Europe is required.

This position will require travel throughout the UK, Europe, Turkey, Israel, India and other regions, when required. This requisition is an international, locally hired position. Head of Business Policy Department, EADA
EADA announces its search for a full-time position as Head of the Department of Business Policy. Successful candidates are expected to manage the Department, teach at the Master and Executive Education level. Preference will be given to those candidates with documented evidence of strong potential for achieving excellence in research. Business experience is also an important asset.
All areas of specialization within strategy will be considered but fields within the areas of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Corporate Social Responsibility will be given preference.
Candidates are expected to have a PhD or a DBA in management or economics. Personal and interpersonal skills to manage a senior team are important.
